What is a Macro Coach?
A Macro Coach is someone who is educated and well versed in health & nutrition. Macro Coaches provide support as you work toward reaching the goals that are important to YOU.
They typically focus on the following three areas:
Guidance – Nutrition is not a black and white concept. There are so many factors that come into play when you’re working toward changing your body composition – age, gender, genetics, type/amount of activity, and of course, nutrition. Each individual requires a different combination of macros – carbs, fat, protein – to achieve their ideal body. As a macro coach, one of my main jobs is to provide my clients with the guidance necessary to reach their ultimate physique goals.
Accountability – When you have someone that is depending on you to check in with them on a regular basis, you are more likely to stay focused and on track with your nutrition. My clients complete daily food logs, which are reviewed and assessed in terms of their goals. Clients also have unlimited access to me through emails and messages for any questions or concerns. I strive to hold all my clients accountable for each and every day.
Flexibility – IIFYM provides you with a flexible approach to dieting. There are no cookie-cutter meal plans. As your coach, I will teach you how to incorporate your favorite foods into your diet while seeing results. Ultimately, my goal is to show you how IIFYM is more than a diet, it’s a lifestyle.
